When Mark turned his design eye to furniture collections, his initial vision was to create comfortable seating in wicker and teak, the wood of choice for outdoor furniture because its high oil content allows it to weather well.

The Mark Suess Collections are constructed of teak and a resilient, weather-friendly woven resin. Made in Indonesia, each piece is a thoughtful, deliberate work of craftmanship — home furnishings that become part of the family legacy.

Mark's designs take teak and wicker far beyond the simple styles they were traditionally assigned, giving his furnishings deep seats, ample arms and detailing usually reserved for the indoor realm.
